Welcome to Austin Wedding & Event Coordinators (AWEC). Thanks for stopping by.
If you're here, you're probably one of three things:
1-A bride looking for a wedding coordinator;
2-A vendor looking for networking opportunities; or
3-A wedding coordinator (or someone who wants to be a wedding coordinator) looking for education and networking opportunities
Well, in all three cases, you've come to the right place. AWEC is an Austin-based non-profit group of event planners who get together on a monthly basis for the purpose of networking and furthering our education and industry knowledge. As our industry - as a whole - expands, so does our membership. We are thrilled with the growth of this organization in the past 10 years and look forward to more growth in the years to come.
So . . . if you're a bride, we encourage you to use our site to help you find a wedding coordinator who is the right fit for you and your wedding. You've already taken the first, most important step - which is hiring an AWEC coordinator. Hiring an AWEC coordinator will give you the peace of mind to know that your coordinator is certified, experienced and has met our strict membership standards/criteria. If you're a vendor looking to get involved with AWEC, please contact our vice president, Jessica Moore (her contact information is on the members page). And stay tuned . . . we will soon be updating our Web site with additional information on how vendors may get more involved with our organization.
